Your internship at PREMATCH

Here's how your internship is structured and how you'll take on responsibility step by step.

• 👤 Target group & duration:
  • Bachelor graduates (Duration: 6–12 months)
  • Master graduates (Duration: 6–11 months)

The most important basics – so we both know if it could work.

• 📍 Location: You see yourself in our office in Cologne (Belgian Quarter) and will be able to work on site at least three times a week.
• 🛠️ Experience: You’re currently studying or have just finished your degree – for example, in business psychology, business administration, human resources management or a similar subject.
• 🇩🇪🇬🇧 Languages: You speak German and English fluently
• 🚀 Startup spirit: You'd rather shape things than just tick boxes – even when that means figuring stuff out without a finished roadmap. </aside>

• With us, you’ll be right in the thick of things from the very start. You’ll be involved in all People & Culture matters, contribute your ideas and gradually take on your own areas of responsibility.
• From attracting new talent and onboarding to helping organise team events and exciting HR projects, you’ll get to know the full spectrum of People & Culture.
• You’ll actively help shape our recruitment and people processes alongside me, Lisa, and see first-hand the difference your work makes.
• Your goal: To work with us to attract the best talent to Prematch and help shape a company culture where everyone feels at home.

⚽ How you'll make a difference

This is how you move our mission forward every day.

• Recruiting: You’ll draft job adverts, review applications, coordinate interviews, conduct interviews yourself, and oversee our recruitment process from start to finish.
• Candidate Experience: You’ll ensure that our candidates have a great experience throughout the entire application process.
• Team events & offsites: You’ll plan and organise our team events in Cologne as well as our multi-day offsites for the whole team.
• HR Projects: You’ll contribute to exciting projects centred on People & Culture and continuously refine our processes.
• Employer Branding: You’ll help us make Prematch even more visible and attractive as an employer.
• HR Operations: You’ll support day-to-day operations and handle administrative tasks for our People Team.

• Organisation & communication: You work in a structured way, are well organised and approach people with an open mind.
• Curiosity & willingness to learn: You’re keen to explore the full spectrum of People & Culture and enjoy developing your skills.
• Hands-on approach: No two days are the same – and that’s exactly what you enjoy.

• You have already gained some initial practical experience in the field of People & Culture, recruitment or HR – for example, through an internship or a part-time student job.
